I read your Agile GIS article - and have to fully agree.  Agile techniques are an ideal way to approach a GIS development project - allows two-way communication with stakeholders as well as being flexible and able to react quickly to changing business requirements.  In my view, and the way I work, the most sensible approach to managing a GIS project.
