Being in the GIS industry, I’d be remiss if, once in a while, I didn’t write a post about cool stuff  in the geospatial arena.  Over the past few years, I’ve watched the incredible shift from desktop GIS to web-based mapping engines like Google Maps and numerous others.  It’s so exciting for me to see a larger audience actively engaging in geospatial awareness at a level most GIS professionals only dreamed of just a few years ago.  So, I wanted to create a quick list of my favorite Google Maps Mashups and share them with you.  Here are the top 10 in no particular order:
